Our fun Monkey Leaf/Monkey Mask plants are flowering aroid plants. With perforations to the leaves, this makes an interesting, unique and easy-going addition to your home. The plant often grows entwined in and around itself, with new leaves and vines sometimes growing through the holes in existing leaves.

Native to the tropical forests of Southern Mexico.

What's included?

The Monstera Monkey Face arrives in a nursery pot, wrapped in kraft paper as shown.

Care Instructions

Place in a bright location out of direct sunlight. The plant can tolerate a darker corner, but will not thrive.
Water when the top few inches of soil are dry. In the winter, water less frequently. Overwatering can cause yellowing leaves.
Mist the leaves regularly, especially if the room is dry.
Use a loose, well-draining, compost-based soil with a slightly acidic pH.
Keep the plant in a location between 18–29°C.
Feed with a liquid fertilizer during the growing season.
Wipe dust off the leaves to help them absorb light.

The leaves of the Monstera adansonii can be extremely toxic to humans and animals.
