Calathea Flamestar - Prayer Plant, has gorgeous, well-finished and eye-catching foliage. The array of colour on each leaf is made up of both light and dark green shades, which allow the plant to bring a real sense of vibrance and freshness into the indoor setting it is placed in.

The plant is also air-purifying, meaning it will clear the air of any harmful pollutants and unwanted toxins.

Our houseplants arrive in their nursery pot, wrapped in kraft paper. Ornamental Pot charged separately.

Care Instructions

A medium light is perfect, if placed in a bright room, keep away from any windows as the bright sun will burn his leaves or cause them to curl.
The calathea flamestar prefers small amounts of water on a regular basis so it’s best to check the soil weekly to make sure it doesn’t dry out too much.
Originating from a very humid climate so will appreciate high levels of humidity. To replicate natural habitat you can place him next to a humidifier, group with other humidity loving plants, use a pebble tray or place in a bathroom.
